Disney Vacation Planning

Disney Vacation Planning

I can’t think of a child who does not dream of going to Disneyland or Disneyworld at one time or another. Disney vacation planning can be a little overwhelming to many parents especially if money is a concern. However, you can find amazing deals on this kind of family retreat.

As a rule of thumb you really will get more for the money if you stay longer. Forget weekend trips. Disney vacation planning should allow for at least five to seven days in order for you to get the most for your money.

Make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to make your arrangements. The longer the Disney vacation planning is, the more you are likely to save in the long run. It is a good idea to start considering your trip a year in advance. Of course, you can still find great deals closer to your trip but you will find that you spend less if you plan well in advance.

I chose to start organizing my family’s trip nine months before we were set to go. The first step in my Disney vacation planning strategy was to choose the best time of year to visit our destination of choice. You can save a lot of money if you carefully choose the time of year that you are going on your trip.

The next thing that I needed to do to get the Disney vacation planning under way was to gather as much information as I possibly could about the location as well as lodging options available in the area. There are plenty of options available and these places offer a wide range of prices so you really could benefit from doing your homework in this respect.

You can also find great packages that include meals with the lodging. This is a fantastic way to cut your cost considering that you will not be paying for meals. These all inclusive packages are the foundation for most Disney vacation planning because these packages really help you save a lot of cash.

In fact, you may be surprised that you can create an affordable trip to either the Disneyland or Disneyworld destinations for less than you imagine if you approach your Disney vacation planning carefully. All it takes is a lot of forethought and some organizational skills and you can be well on your way to your dream vacation.

Disney World Coupons

Disney World Coupons

My kids have been begging me to take them on a vacation to Disney’s Magic Kingdom for the longest time now. They want to see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and the rest of their favorite characters, and of course they want to experience all the great attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. I hesitated at first because that theme park is notoriously expensive. But then I heard that I could get free Disney World coupons to help reduce costs.

I checked for Disney World coupons online and was amazed by what I saw. In all honesty, I was just expecting to get a small discount on park admission tickets and I would have been completely happy with that. But there are actually a lot of different kinds of Disney World coupons that not only cover admission, but also hotels, rental cars, and even meals. It looked like I would be able to save a lot more money than I bargained for!

Some of the free Disney World coupons I found online were pretty straightforward to use. All I had to do was print them off and present them at the ticket window, hotel desk, or rental car clerk in order to enjoy the discount. These vouchers were generally for smaller amounts like 5 to 10 percent off. Still, those Disney World coupons could add up to decent savings when applied to a family of four.

Then there was a whole other class of Disney World coupons that were much more attractive to me. These were the buy-one-get-one free vouchers that could really help make our trip more affordable. Unfortunately, these Disney World coupons were much harder to come by. Instead of just printing them myself, I would have to go and listen to a sales presentation near the Magic Kingdom. These firms presenting these sales pitches weren’t affiliated with the Walt Disney company at all, but were offering valid Disney World coupons as a means of attracting potential customers. The sales presentation would be held early in the morning and would take about an hour, with no obligation to purchase anything. After that, I could collect my Disney World coupons and head to the park.

The more research I did, the more I realized that my upcoming trip to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center would be more affordable than I ever imagined. I know I’ll never head to Orlando again without checking for Disney World coupons online first.
